I love to give handmade gifts at Christmas, so much work goes into them...and so much love.
The hard part?
I have 9 more of these babies to make!
But you know what? I feel like it's important to make people feel
special. To promote my love for Jesus Christ brings me an understanding
and a new found faith that is breathed right into my artwork.
After all, I have decided to use my art to Glorify HIM now, vs. seeking a nod of approval from others.
I make art because it helps me to feel. To understand. To seek. To find. To trust and to yearn for a private conversation between me and the man that loves me more than anyone else.
I love the guidance he gives me. For instance, I sit down and have no clue where art street is going to take me, and I usually end up with something that is a message meant only for me---and the person who's hands the artwork ends up in.
And isn't that really what art is all about? These private journeys that link us to others---strangers or friends--but both of us seem to be on the same path and choosing to understand a voice of something so powerful words cannot describe it.
Love that.
Love that the Lord blessed me with something that I cannot imagine never being a part of again. Much like my relationship with him. Solidified with hands that create a piece of art that always, always, always is much more fun in the process.
Who would trade that?
Certainly not me.
Until Tomorrow!
xoxo
